Do you only accept scary movies?
No, our film festival has screened a broad array of films that fall into the horror
genre including: animation, puppeteering, dark comedies and suspenseful thrillers.
Is there a special rate with an Atlanta hotel for out of town filmmakers and
festival attendees?
Yes, we are partnered with The Highland Inn, which is located about half a block
from The Plaza Theatre in the quaint and historic Virginia Highlands neighborhood.
Our festival rate is $79/night. The hotel is located within walking distance of many
restaurants, bars and boutique shops. The Highland Inn’s contact information can be
found at the bottom of this page (insert logo and address and phone number). Just
mention Buried Alive! when you make your reservation.
Can I purchase tickets in advance?
As of now, we only sell individual tickets and festival passes at The Plaza Theatre on
the first day of the festival.
How long has the Buried Alive Film Festival been operating?
Our festival is going on its sixth consecutive year and our third year under the
Buried Alive name.
