Picking up after Erecting A Monster, Victor faces a bizarre battle against his incubus-possessed penis, and his adventure with Johnny will have you questioning your sanity. Join a group of film students as they spiral into chaos while filming a horror movie about a bloodthirsty guinea pig, losing themselves in a fever-dream of creativity. Explore the dark side of human nature as a disillusioned soul seeks solace in the wilderness, and laugh along with the misadventures of a pathetic Irish fishmonger entangled with an ancient creature. With elements of stop-motion animation, hybrid music videos, and more, this block promises to blur the lines between comedy and horror, leaving you laughing, gasping, and wanting more.

Each animal in the band represents a different type of creature native to California while embodying different reasons why roadkill happens.

Wheek Flesh
Director:Annie MacLeod & Clare Dawson
Type: Short  Film

A crew of film students hunker down in an apartment, determined to make a horror movie about a pet guinea pig with a thirst for blood. As the evening progresses, exhaustion and frustration set in and creative conflict arises, but nobody is permitted to leave the set until the director’s vision is achieved. The students lose sense of time and reality as the set disintegrates into a comedic and absurd fever-dream.
Wheek Flesh is a 25 minute experimental-mockumentary-horror-comedy shot entirely on Hi-8. Think The Blair Witch Project meets Cecil B. Demented meets Ryan Trecartin. It is the thesis film of Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema (Montreal) students Annie MacLeod and Clare Dawson.
