Celebrating Videodrome’s 25th Birthday

All of us here at Buried Alive Film Festival want to celebrate Videodrome 25th Birthday. 🎂 Videodrome started its journey in the summer of 1998, born out of a passion for film and a commitment to bringing a curated collection of Independent, Foreign, Cult, Horror, Anime, and Documentary VHS titles to east Atlanta.

Named after the mind-bending cult classic film by David Cronenberg, Videodrome has become a special place for dedicated film buffs. In an era dominated by streaming, this unconventional video rental experience has thrived, inspiring a loyal cult following of its own.

Step inside Videodrome, and you’ll find aisles filled with expertly curated collections of obscure and mainstream movies, grouped by director and featuring staff picks to guide your selection. From international blockbusters to little-known classics, the store is an oasis for cinephiles who appreciate director’s cuts, special features, and discovering new films.

Videodrome has been celebrating throughout November, and you can their celebration with their exclusive limited edition merch on their website, and there is an exciting contest featuring prize packages from our longtime friends, and more! You can join their birthday party TOMORROW at @argosyeav on Wednesday, 11/29.

🥳 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to OUR LOCAL ATLANTA NEIGHBOR
